Guest Post!
Alex S. Gabor and about a dozen of very brazen women have formed the International Tantra Institute in Seattle.
Their location is highly secretive but one person told me that they sometimes have meetings and rituals at the top of the hill at Gasworks Park overlooking Seattle and the famous Lake Union!
For more than two decades Seattle has been the source of such things as Grunge Rock, the Odd Fellows Revival, the New Age Movement, the Tesla Movement and the alternative energy movement not to mention it is the former home of two Rock Legends, Curt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix to whom Microsoft Billionaire Paul Allen built a musuem as a tribute to his musical genius.
A search on the subject of Tantra brings up lots of interesting information for the beginning student of Tantra. I am happy to say that I am a proud dues paying member of the International Tantra Institute (ITI) and personally know the founder, Alex S. Gabor.
There seems to be so much confusion and information and contradictory data on the subject I thought I would share with my friends and readers my personal experiences since having met Alex S. Gabor who some say is “The Tantric Master” and who is making a film by the same name out of his Seattle studios!
When I first googled the subject of Tantra, I got more than 8.3 million search results and I don’t have time to read all those articles and watch all those videos!
My path to Tantra began when I was a little child around the age of five when I first discovered that my physical makeup was different from that of girls my age. I had sensed an inner energy within me and it started the fire!
Delving deeper using the Google Search Engine into the subject online I found that a search for Tantra on Associated Content narrowed the research I was conducting down to fewer than 30,000 search results.
There are many people who have written quite a few articles on the subject of Tantra at Associated Content, in fact well over 117 pieces of text content shows up but very little video content except by one person who uses the word Tantra in her byline, Tantra Bensko.
What is really unusual is that the number of Sources at Associated Content who have written about the subject of Tantra is 23 but Alex S. Gabor is not on the list when you click on the link to the 23 Sources.
Alex S. Gabor was once to make a film in Los Angeles called, “The Tantric Master”, but the project was scrapped after porn star Daehja Milan stormed off the set because the writer and director didn’t want to hear about her personal life any more and wanted to get on with productions!
If you search Alex S. Gabor’s Source Page at Associated Content you will only come up with four stories written by him, but he has published many more articles on the subject of Tantra, probably more than anyone else at Associated Content.
Gabor claims there are many versions of Tantra being bandied about the internet and there are probably infinite forms and variations on the subject, but his International Tantric Institute headquartered in Lake City is probably the only place where you can go and gain hands on experience with a true tantric master.
When Alex S. Gabor was one of the Odd Fellows at the now disbanded Anchor Lodge of Seattle back in 1993, he was known by his fellow Odd Men as “Merlin”. That was the same year Gabor published his autobiographical, “Confessions of a Sex Crazed Money Man” which sold only 3,000 copies, and fewer than 500 have his personal autograph on. He claims that he buys them back on occaision for as much as $100.00 just to keep making a market in them.
After I read all the articles I could on the subject of Tantra written by Alex S. Gabor I found I had a much greater intellectual understanding but I wanted to experience it first hand from the master himself.
The International Tantra Institute is not to be confused with the National Institute of Tantra of South Africa or the International Institute of Tantra out of Australia. Neither of these organizations can claim to have a Tantric Master as their Founder and Teacher!
Now some of you reading this might think I am trying to promote Alex S. Gabor’s brand of Tantra, or trying to get this article on the subject of Tantra at the top of every search engine on the Internet on the subject, but that really isn’t what I am trying to do, although it would be nice, I could use the extra pennies from all the clicks and advertizing traffic!
No I am writing this because I think most people are confused on the subject of Tantra and I wanted to relate my personal experiences on the subject, coming at it from a different perspective!
Researching the subject of Tantra just on Associated Content alone is a mind blowing experience. For example, I read, “A Little Taste of Tantra” by Jaahda Jinnah who says she lives in cyberspace and writes stories about astral traveling, but I have to disagree with her on at least one thing. Based on my few experiences already, I know that Tantra has nothing to do with denying our senses or overcoming our sexual desires as some Yogi’s and Buddists would have us believe..
I did agree with Tantra as Physics by Tantra Bensko, a video by a women who lives in San Francisco and who teaches tantra, that “tantra is all about mastering energies, not just about having orgasms without ejaculating”, but when I read her article, “Water and Tantra Yoga” and she wrote, “In Tantra, water is used to clean the nostrils,” I about fell on the floor!
I don’t see at all what putting salty water up your nostrils has to do with mastering that sensual sexual energy, and this gives proof to my point that there are way too many people who are doing “Tantra” that do not know what they are talking about!
This is my first article on the subject of Tantra and being a student of Tantra so far has been a very humbling experience.
I am totally amazed at the power of the Infinite Tantra!
